Who can I contact with questions about the cell phone guidelines?

If you have questions regarding West Middle School’s cell phone expectations or consequences, please contact your student’s grade-level administrator or our Office Manager.

How do I add or update a contact for my student?

Parents and guardians can update emergency contacts and household information through the Guardian Update tile in the Cherry Creek Schools Parent Portal.

To update contact information:

1. Log in to your Cherry Creek Schools account.
2. Select the Guardian Update tile.
3. Make any necessary updates to contacts, phone numbers, or household information.

Helpful Tips:

• Household 1 parents/guardians must complete their annual Parent Forms before accessing the Guardian Update tile.
• Household 2 parents/guardians will only see the tile if a second household has been established in PowerSchool.
• If you need to create or modify a second household, visit the District Admissions webpage and select "Change/Update/Verify Address or Household Information."
• Updates typically appear in PowerSchool within minutes.
• If your student does not appear when you log in, refreshing the page often resolves the issue.

I’m new to the area. How do I enroll at West Middle School?

We are excited to welcome new Wildcats!

Enrollment for Cherry Creek Schools is managed through the District Admissions Office.

The Admissions team can assist with enrollment, residency requirements, school boundaries, address changes, and school choice questions.

Does West Middle School offer tours?

Yes!

Students attending one of our feeder elementary schools will have an opportunity to visit and tour West Middle School during the spring of their 5th-grade year.

Families who are new to the area, moving into the district, or transferring from a non-feeder school may schedule a tour by contacting our Main Office at 720-554-5101.

We would love the opportunity to show you around and answer any questions about becoming part of the West Middle School community! 

How do I report my student's absence?

If your student will be absent, arrive late, or leave early, please contact our Attendance Office (720-554-5195) as soon as possible.

When reporting an absence, please include:

• Student's first and last name
• Grade level
• Reason for absence
• Parent/guardian name and relationship to the student
• Providing detailed information helps us ensure accurate attendance records and student safety.
