A Letter from Your PTCO Presidents:

The West PTCO is dedicated to enriching the lives and educational opportunities of all West Middle School students.  This is achieved through collaboration between teachers and staff, parents, and student.  We encourage parents and caregivers to become as involved as possible at West and be part of this partnership.  The PTCO offers opportunities throughout the year for all volunteers to contribute.  From fundraisers, organizing and attending PTCO events, general board meetings, or becoming involved on the PTCO board, there is something for everyone!

Below is some information you will find helpful as we begin the new school year.  Please feel free to contact either of us if you have questions or want to get involved.

2018 Wildcat Challenge Fundraiser

One of West Middle School's most important fundraisers that raises money to plant the seeds that help our kids grow!

Donations gained from the fundraiser will be used during the 2018 – 2019 school year and will be applied toward WMS's top educational needs. The fundraising period culminates with the WCC Fundraiser Celebration Event, with games, water activities, food, and fun, to thank our kids for their hard work collecting donations. All students are able to participate in the WCC Celebration Event, regardless of amount raised. To promote friendly competition and team spirit, the Wildcat Challenge includes GREAT PRIZE DRAWINGS offered to students at various milestone events, including Student Waiver Turn-In, Early-Bird Turn-In, and Final Donation Day. Additional incentives include great prizes for individual and team competitions.

NEW THIS YEAR! WMS is planning and delivering the Wildcat Challenge Fundraiser independently through the WMS PTCO and volunteers, without the support of a fundraising organization.

This means that the budget traditionally reserved for a fundraising organization will instead be invested back into WMS, allowing us to have more personal integration with students and faculty!

For more information, please contact WCC Chair and WMS Parent, Emily Wilhelmi directly at 303-552-8868 or email

Information available to download:

Visit to get started! It's fast, free, and only takes 5 minutes! Students can NEARLY TRIPLE THEIR FUNDRAISING total through The Get Movin' Crew vs. traditional envelope-based sales alone. That means more great prizes for your student and more funds allocated for WMS' top educational needs!
